What is Aurora?
The Aurora Club Relleu is an association dedicated to promoting knowledge about the culture, history, and environment of Relleu, the Marina Baixa region, the province of Alicante, and the Valencian Community. Our goal is to enrich the community through various activities and events.
Our Activities
- Presentations and Lectures: Gatherings where experts and members discuss a wide range of topics relevant to our region.
- Excursions: Visits to locations of cultural, archaeological, geological, and natural interest, such as castles, churches, dams, mills, archaeological sites, nature reserves, and museums.
- Information Dissemination: Sharing knowledge and experiences through our website and written publications, ensuring all interested residents have access to this information.
- Collaboration with Other Organizations: Disseminating information about cultural and environmental events organized by other organizations, such as Asociación Benesit, Ruta Morisca, and La Llira Relleuense, that have similar objectives.
- Social Gatherings: Organizing joint meals after events, where members can informally exchange ideas and opinions about the activities.
Expanding Our Scope
While our focus has traditionally been on the culture and traditions of Relleu and the province of Alicante, we have decided to broaden our horizons. We are now open to a wider range of topics that interest our members. This expansion encourages members to actively participate by, for example, giving a lecture or organizing an event. The board reserves the right to decide, in consultation with members, on the suitability of proposed activities.
Repeating Successful Activities
Given the growing number of new members, we are considering re-organizing previously successful lectures and activities. This offers new members the chance to participate in popular events they may have missed. An overview of all activities organized over the past ten years will be distributed, allowing members to suggest repeats or come up with new ideas.
Membership
